Weekly reflections on high-performance cultures
Is this blog for you?
I write with busy leaders in mind. You can expect one useful post in your inbox each week. Posts are short, practical and thought-provoking, and address three big questions:
* What is a “high performance culture”?
* How do you build one?
* What is it like to lead one?
Why do I write about these topics?
Your organisation’s culture comes from two things. The way you lead, and the things you build. The way you lead means your attitudes and beliefs as well as your actions. The things you build means the boring, basic, everyday parts of your organisation that everybody uses. Your systems, processes, policies, procedures, tools...
Doing these things the right way will help you become an effective organisation that can reliably generate value and impact.
Doing them the wrong way will stifle creativity, lead to unproductive conflict, and kill your organisation’s spark.
I want to show you how to do them the right way, so that your organisation can do more of what exists to do, and be a better place to work.
Who am I?
I’m an operations leader, coach and consultant serving mission-driven organisations. I have worked with CEOs of non-profits, social enterprises and tech-for-good businesses.
I offer coaching for leaders, and I build “things” for organisations (policies, procedures, etc) as a tool for culture change.
If you want my help to make your organisation more effective, then you can schedule a time for us to talk.
If you have any questions about anything I post here, just hit reply to continue the conversation.
